About Me:

I was born into the American Dream, and that’s where I’ll stay until I take my final breath. It’s not because of the great things I have; rather, it’s because of the great things I can accomplish in this country. I’m the son of Indian immigrants and a kid with a disability, and I’m a person of hope and optimism who believes in America’s future. I’m a proud American.
My rollercoaster journey began the day I was born, on a sunny day in September. In my first week of life, I was diagnosed with an intestinal blockage that prevented me from eating or drinking anything. It took a very long time to overcome this boulder of a challenge, but eventually I got better. Over the next few years, I was a pretty healthy kid, mostly because of the sacrifices my parents made so I could have a better life.
Moving from Pennsylvania to California was life-changing, from my new school to my new interest in cars. Then, when I was four, my father showed me a list of US presidents, and I was so fascinated. As I looked at the wiki page, my dad told me that these people were great because of their sacrifices for their nation. They didn’t need to put themselves in the public eye, but they believed in the idea of service to their nation. These ideas inspired me to learn and to get more knowledgeable about politics. Over the next nine years, I studied both sides of the political spectrum, and I came to the conclusion that what makes America great isn’t our past; rather, it’s our future.
We need to take action now because today America isn’t respecting the fundamental principles of equality and freedom that built this country. We have allowed politicians and other partisan groups to dictate how we live and how we run our institutions. I ask you to join me on a mission: let’s put aside party politics and do what’s best for this nation rather than what’s best for a political party. Let’s reform our schools by making them more efficient. Let’s improve our healthcare system. Let’s change the way we treat people with disabilities. Let’s make gun laws safer so parents don’t have to worry every time the phone rings.
Let’s be proud of our nation!

Let’s get started.
